Job Description

Own the configuration and management of enterprise backup solutions for enterprise and cloud, with an emphasis on Commvault and NetBackup.
Proactively identify and troubleshoot backup/restore failures across virtual, physical, and hybrid cloud environments.
Analyse recurring issues, drive permanent resolutions, and document root cause and resolution.
Maintain backup infrastructure, including Linux-based media agents, storage targets, and backup servers.
Automate operational tasks using scripting tools like Shell, Python, Ansible, or PowerShell to improve reliability and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application/data backup requirements are understood and met.
Establish and maintain backup schedules, policies, retention, and recovery SLAs.
Document runbooks, architecture diagrams, and incident playbooks clearly and consistently.
Provide support for audits, security reviews, and compliance requirements related to backup and data retention.
Contribute to backup capacity planning, health checks, and performance tuning.

What You ll bring

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field with4-6 years of experience
