System Studies Engineer

As an Engineer at Black & Veatch, you will be working under close supervision to perform engineering functions that require knowledge and experience in engineering principles. You will continue to learn and stay updated on departmental design guides, standards, systems, engineering codes, and Black and Veatch policies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Continuing to learn and remain current on engineering standards - Supporting continuous improvement and change management efforts - Preparing and verifying less complex engineering deliverables - Collecting, assimilating, and managing data for engineering work - Seeking guidance from supervisors or project leadership for project coordination In addition, you will focus on internal client needs while gaining a basic understanding of external client interests. You will share current knowledge of the latest technology and processes and may provide support to business development activities. Preferred qualifications for this position include learning on the fly, problem-solving skills, and basic knowledge of engineering design principles. Minimum qualifications for this role include a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
