Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide

    Level 1 (L1) technical support

    for compute infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, and cloud environments.
  • Monitor system performance, health checks, and incident management through ticketing tools.
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues related to compute infrastructure.
  • Assist with user access management and permission configurations.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for escalation and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with L2/L3 teams for complex issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
  • Adhere to SLAs for response and resolution times.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Basic knowledge of

    Windows/Linux Server administration

    .
  • Understanding of

    virtualization technologies

    (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
  • Familiarity with

    ticketing systems

    (ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of

    networking concepts

    (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
  • Awareness of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
