Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Strong experience with IBM OMEGAMON family (CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, z/OS, Storage).
Hands-on experience with OMEGAMON Data Provider setup and streaming data to open observability platforms.
Working knowledge of IBM Z Monitoring Configuration Manager and Z Service Management Suite.
Familiarity with SMF, RMF, and z/OS performance metrics.
Experience integrating with tools such as Kafka, Splunk, Grafana, or Elastic Stack.
Understanding of JSON data models and data pipelines.
Basic scripting skills (e.g., REXX, JCL, Shell, or Python) for automation.
Knowledge of TLS/SSL configuration, OMI and REST API concepts in IBM OMEGAMON.
Excellent problem-solving and performance analysis skills.
Strong communication and documentation capabilities.
