Job Title: System Engineer – Electrical & Control Systems

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled

System Engineer

with hands-on experience in

electrical architecture, control panel design, PLC programming, and industrial automation systems

. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in designing, developing, and validating control panels and electrical schematics, along with strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols and troubleshooting of MCC and PLC-based control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and prepare electrical control panel schematics, GA, and IGA diagrams using ECAD tools.
  • Select appropriate switchgear components and perform necessary design calculations.
  • Develop and program PLC applications using Ladder Logic (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.).
  • Configure and validate Ignition SCADA screens for factory automation projects.
  • Work on communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP for seamless device integration.
  • Set drive parameters and establish communication with various PLCs.
  • Perform validation, troubleshooting, and factory testing of MCC and PLC-based control systems.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and documentation for delivered systems.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical architecture and control system design.
  • Expertise in control panel design, schematic creation, and harness design.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi) and industrial automation solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in component selection, electrical calculations, and drive configuration.
  • Proficiency in Electrical CAD/AutoCAD tools for panel layout and schematics.
  • Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP).

Desired Skills

  • Experience in factory acceptance testing (FAT) and validation of electrical control systems.
  • Knowledge of MCC systems and troubleshooting of PLC-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation standards and safety regulations.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
