Job Purpose Application -Tech Support – Looking After:IT Applications – Grade:L3 – Location:Akurdi HO/Wakedwadi – Experience:Minimum 10 years – Qualification:B.E./B.Tech/M.C.A. – Reporting to:DGM – Nature of Role:Individual Performer. Off roles reporting to this position Duties and Responsibilities System Administration:Overseeing the daily operations of server systems, ensuring they run efficiently and securely. Hardware Inventory:Maintaining detailed lists of all physical and virtual servers, including specifications and configurations. Software Inventory:Keeping track of configured applications and third-party software, along with their licenses. Patch Management:Identifying, deploying, and validating updates for operating systems and applications to fix vulnerabilities and improve performance. Server Health Checkup:Monitoring server processes, CPU and memory utilization, and performing necessary optimizations. Documentation:Keeping accurate records of hardware, software, and network configurations to aid in troubleshooting and compliance. Security:Implementing and maintaining IT security measures to protect data and systems from cyber threats. Backup and Recovery:Ensuring data is regularly backed up and can be restored in case of loss or corruption. Compliance:Making sure systems adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Proficiency In Operating Systems Like Windows, Linux, Or Unix. – Understanding Of Middleware Technologies Such As Weblogic, Jboss, Apache Tomcat, Ibm Websphere. – Experience With Containerization And Orchestration, Tools Like Kubernetes And Docker. – Knowledge Of Automation and monitoring tools Required Qualifications and Experience Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Competence in optimizing system performance and managing resources.. Skill in implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with standards. .
