Job Description

1. Manage

Troubleshoot
connectivity, routing, switching, and firewall issues
.
Participate in
on-call support
for critical network issues.
Work with ITIL processes such as
Change Management
(creating, reviewing, implementing changes)
Problem Management
(providing RCA for network failures)
Incident Management
(L2/L3 escalation handling)

2. Strong

Routing protocols: OSPF,
BGP, EIGRP
Switching
VLAN, STP, EtherChannel
Security
ACL, NAT, IPSec, Firewalls
Load Balancers
F5/NGINX (optional)

Hands-on experience with
Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet/Palo Alto
devices.
Experience with
network monitoring
tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
Familiarity with
ITSM tools & ITIL framework
.
Strong documentation and communication skills.

3.

Track and respond to
incidents, alerts, and performance degradation
.
Perform
first-level troubleshooting
for network, server, and application issues.
Create, update, and close
incidents, change requests, and service requests
in ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Cherwell, and Freshservice).
