System Administrator - Technology

Certifications: MCSE Core Infrastructure (mandatory); additional cloud certifications (eg AWS, Azure) and ITIL are a plus
Experience: 4-6 years of total IT experience, with at least 2 years in a System Administrator role or equivalent Proficiency with Windows Server (2016 and later versions) Basic knowledge of network devices (eg switches, routers) and network configurations Familiarity with Linux environments Understanding of ITIL processes (incident and change management) Experience with ticketing systems and IT support tools Ability to work independently and as a team player Desktop Support: Provide comprehensive support for desktop hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting and resolution System Maintenance: Oversee WSUS updates, manage file services, and perform routine system maintenance Antivirus and Security: Troubleshoot and resolve antivirus issues, manage security updates, and handle access and file services management Asset Management: Maintain and update asset inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of hardware and software Network Configuration: Manage and configure network printers, FTP clients, and proxy servers; resolve basic network connectivity issues related to desktops System Monitoring: Monitor server performance, analyze server logs, and address potential issues Remote Administration: Configure and support remote administration tools (eg VNC, TeamViewer) Business Support: Provide responsive support to business units to ensure smooth IT operations and address user needs Configuration Management: Configure and manage desktop and server systems, ensuring they align with organizational standards and best practices Incident Response: Manage and resolve system incidents in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations Compliance: Ensure systems comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
