System Administrator

Description

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our server and network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure and network systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
• Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in system administration or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
