Job Description

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
Perform regular system backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place.
Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access controls are implemented.
Collaborate with IT team members to develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other team members.
Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Knowledge of network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, MCSE, RHCE) are a plus.
