System Account Manager II

Role Overview: As an Account Manager at Waters, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful growth of businesses across South India (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu & Kerala) by delivering innovative technology and system solutions to customers in the life, materials, and food sciences industries. Your primary responsibility will be to understand customers" business needs, develop solutions, and drive customer success. This position offers flexibility to work in the field, focusing on designated territories and/or markets. Key Responsibilities: - Addressing new and existing customers in diverse markets such as Polymer, Composites, Chemical materials, Food, Environmental, Clinical, and Academia - Maintaining and developing existing customers while identifying and developing new accounts - Regularly visiting customers within the assigned territory - Organizing, delivering, and following up seminars and workshops at customer sites - Providing high-quality technical advice to customers while maximizing sales potential - Collaborating across departments to ensure customer success - Formulating and implementing business plans - Planning and prioritizing personal time and sales activities - Adhering to relevant Health, Safety, and Environment requirements - Using CRM, Service Plan, and Quotation system effectively with a focus on improvements and upgrades Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's in scientific areas such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymers, Mechanical Engineering, or Material Science - Experience: Knowledge of Thermal Analysis, Rheometer, Thermal Physical Properties, and Microcalorimetry products. Technical and practical solution selling experience in Advanced Materials characterization applications, Polymers, Composites, and exposure within Thermal Analysis. - Skills: Action-oriented with a strong technical background in analytical technologies, excellent communication and presentation skills, highly organized with good time management, strong interpersonal skills, mature disposition, positive attitude, and commitment. - Travel: Territory-based position with travel within the designated territory and occasional international travels for various activities.
