Job Description

interestedRole & responsibilities

Survey Work:

Conduct site surveys and prepare topographical maps, layouts, and alignment plans.
Establish and maintain reference points, benchmarks, and control lines at the site.
Verify dimensions, elevations, and positions of structures against design drawings.
Use total station, GPS, AutoCAD, and other survey instruments/software for precise measurements.
Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to resolve discrepancies in measurements.

Billing Work:

Prepare client and subcontractor bills as per BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and work executed.
Verify and cross-check quantities from drawings and actual site work.
Maintain records of measurements (MBR Measurement Book Records).
Certify and process Running Account (RA) Bills and Final Bills.
Ensure compliance with contract conditions, drawings, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with accounts/finance team for timely submission and follow-up of bills.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, instruments, and software (Total Station, AutoCAD, MS Excel).
Understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, and billing procedures.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Ability to read and interpret civil drawings.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
5 - 8 years of experience in surveying and billing (construction/infrastructure projects preferred).
