Job Summary:

The Surveillance Manager is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure school environment through efficient operation and monitoring of CCTV systems and other surveillance infrastructure. This role involves overseeing daily surveillance activities, reviewing footage, identifying security risks, coordinating with security staff, and maintaining a vigilant eye over the entire campus to prevent and address any safety or disciplinary concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor real-time CCTV camera feeds across all school zones (classrooms, corridors, entry/exit gates, playgrounds, etc.)
  • Regularly review footage for any incidents or suspicious behavior and report findings to the school authorities.
  • Maintain and manage all surveillance equipment, ensuring it is in working condition at all times.
  • Coordinate with IT and security vendors for installation, repair, or upgrades of surveillance systems.
  • Maintain logs of daily surveillance checks, system downtime, and any security incidents.
  • Support school administration in investigating behavioral or disciplinary issues through video footage when required.
  • Develop and enforce surveillance policies and procedures in coordination with the school leadership.
  • Train staff on how to use surveillance systems, if needed.
  • Collaborate with the school’s security personnel to strengthen overall safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline (Bachelor’s Degree); preference given to candidates with certification or training in surveillance or security management.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in surveillance operations, preferably in a school or institutional environment.
  • Familiarity with CCTV systems, video analytics, and basic IT troubleshooting.
  • Strong observational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Must be proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, on-campus role.
  • May involve extended hours during school events, emergencies, or maintenance.
