Job Description: As an Engineer in the Casting department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the casting process, including planning, implementing, and managing the operations of our casting projects. You will be expected to ensure that all casting processes are carried out efficiently and effectively, meeting the highest standards of quality and safety. Principal Accountabilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of the casting process, from planning and design to implementation and monitoring. Utilize MIS & Reporting tools to track, analyze, and report on casting operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and processes, using this knowledge to optimize our casting operations. Use SAP and other IT-related applications to manage and streamline casting processes. Monitor and control casting operations to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Develop a global mindset, understanding and adapting to the needs and expectations of our international clients and partners. Demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen, making strategic decisions that benefit the company's bottom line. Foster an entrepreneurial spirit, constantly seeking out new opportunities for growth and innovation. Manage and lead a team of casting professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Handle conflicts and make critical decisions, liaising with other departments and stakeholders as necessary. Ensure all casting operations comply with relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in casting, with a proven track record of managing and improving casting operations. They will also have strong technical skills, including experience with MIS & Reporting, SAP, and other IT-related applications. Additionally, they will have strong soft skills, including a global mindset, business acumen, and people management skills.
