Job Description: As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of our steel plant operations, with a particular focus on the Hot Zone Casting process. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of ductile iron pipe and ductile iron casting, as well as the pipe casting process. Your role will involve working with casting molds, core making, mold preparation, and furnace operations. You will also be responsible for monitoring the hot zone to ensure optimal performance and safety. Principal Accountabilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of the Hot Zone Casting process in the steel plant. Work with casting molds, core making, and mold preparation to ensure high-quality production. Operate and monitor furnace operations to maintain optimal performance and safety. Monitor the hot zone, making necessary adjustments to ensure efficiency and safety. Use your knowledge of ductile iron pipe and ductile iron casting to improve processes and product quality. Apply your global mindset and business acumen to make strategic decisions that benefit the company. Demonstrate entrepreneurship by identifying and implementing innovative solutions to improve operations. Manage and lead a team, fostering a culture of people excellence.
