Job Description: As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Hot Zone Casting operations within our organization. You will be expected to apply your expertise in demand forecasting models and techniques, ductile iron pipe, and hot zone casting to ensure the smooth running of our operations. You will also be responsible for the creation and maintenance of casting molds and cores, as well as the prevention of casting defects. Principal Accountabilities: Oversee and manage all Hot Zone Casting operations, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and effectively. Apply expertise in demand forecasting models and techniques to predict future production needs. Design and maintain casting molds and cores, ensuring they meet the necessary specifications and quality standards. Implement strategies for the prevention of casting defects, ensuring the highest quality of our products. Monitor and control casting temperatures to ensure optimal conditions for production. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align production with business goals. Demonstrate a global mindset and business acumen in decision-making processes. Foster an environment of entrepreneurship and people excellence within the team. Manage conflicts and make critical decisions that benefit the organization.
