Support Engineer

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and maintenance for security and surveillance systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarms, fire suppuration , etc.).
  
• Diagnose and resolve system/network issues onsite and remotely.
  
• Coordinate with clients to ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
  
• Install, configure, and test hardware/software related to security solutions.
  
• Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and service logs.
  
• Assist in system upgrades, integrations, and preventive maintenance activities.
  
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for escalations and advanced troubleshooting.
  
• Ensure compliance with company standards, SLAs, and client requirements.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics, IT, or related field.
  
• Proven experience in technical support for security systems.
  
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, biometrics, fire alarm, and intrusion detection systems.
  
• Familiarity with networking, IP-based surveillance, and system integration.
  
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with willingness for field visits.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in security systems or networking (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA, Honeywell, Hikvision, Bosch).
  
• Experience with VMS (Video Management Systems) and cloud-based security solutions.
