Supply Chain - Process reengineering analyst

As the Supply Chain Business Operations Analyst 4 at HP in Chennai, you will be responsible for a wide range of operational activities related to Services Supply Chain, including pricing analysis, inventory analysis, reporting, and analytics. Your role will involve providing innovative solutions to operational issues from both SAP and non-SAP environments, specifically in Logistics, Procurement, and order management supply chain business processes. You will drive key Supply Chain Improvement projects by challenging the status quo and collaborating with diverse teams with limited direction. Your responsibilities will include: - Own pricing analysis, inventory analysis, reporting, and analytics for Services Supply Chain - Act as a trusted team member providing innovative solutions to operational issues - Drive/support key Supply Chain Improvement projects by challenging the status quo - Exercise independent judgment to determine appropriate solutions/actions - Follow established guidelines, interpret policies, evaluate unique circumstances, and make recommendations As the Procurement Operations Manager at HP, you will have the opportunity to: - Own Logistics, Procurement, and Order management processes in SAP S4 and non-SAP environment - Manage Material Master related attributes in the S4 environment - Coordinate with outsourced partners and internal teams for smooth operations - Act as a Subject Matter Expert with excellent SAP skills - Reengineer business processes and automate them using best-of-breed technologies - Produce reports using various IT systems/tools and analyze data to develop trends - Review performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvements and automation - Research and analyze priority projects to enable digital advancement - Provide training and mentorship to junior staff members Qualifications required for this role include: - First level university degree (Engineering preferred) - 17-20 years of experience in supply chain function - Experience in Master data, Logistics, Procurement, Order Management, Sales - 6-8 years of experience in SAP S4 iDOC messages related to Logistics, Procurement, and Order Management - Solid understanding of SAP and its integration points - Knowledge of EDIs and B2B platforms used for partner communication - Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills - Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) - Strong Project Management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams Disclaimer: This job description provides an overview of the role and responsibilities.
