Supply Chain Manager & Efficiency Driver

The Supply Chain Manager & Efficiency Driver will play a crucial role in optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing cost efficiency for our India business located in Kolkata. As a dynamic and results-driven leader, you will focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainability while driving efficiency and performance in the supply chain network. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supply Chain Efficiency & Compliance: - Optimize the supply chain network to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. - Ensure compliance with import regulations while minimizing import costs. - Drive sustainability initiatives, including carbon footprint reduction. 2. Inventory & Logistics Management: - Achieve Net Working Capital (NWC) targets while controlling obsolescence costs. - Improve capacity utilization and ensure on-time delivery to end customers. - Enhance inventory planning to balance demand and supply effectively. 3. Sourcing & Procurement Management: - Oversee sourcing strategies and indirect procurement to improve cost efficiency. - Ensure compliance with procurement policies and supplier management best practices. 4. Financial & Business Performance Management: - Oversee financial reporting, business metrics, and performance tracking. - Provide data-driven insights on product and segment-wise business performance. 5. Business Intelligence & Reporting: - Develop and maintain visibility on all key supply chain and business metrics. - Conduct in-depth analysis to support strategic decision-making. Qualifications/Requirements: - Experience: 10+ years in supply chain management, preferably in mining, heavy equipment, or industrial sectors. - Education: Engineering + MBA / PG in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred. - Strong expertise in import/export compliance and cost management. - Hands-on experience with inventory control, logistics, and procurement. - Proficiency in supply chain analytics and business intelligence tools. - Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
