Supply Chain Intern

Role Overview: Futuristic Labs is a research and product development studio dedicated to creating innovative consumer products for a superior and healthier lifestyle. Currently focused on solving home cooking challenges, the team is developing automated solutions like RIKU, a fully automatic, AI-assisted rice and curry maker, along with other products to revolutionize kitchen automation. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and establish relationships with domestic and international vendors. - Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability. - Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions. - Develop and implement logistics strategies for timely delivery of materials and products. - Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities. - Monitor and optimize logistics costs while ensuring high service levels. - Oversee inventory planning and control to meet production and customer demands. - Implement inventory management systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. - Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and implement process improvements. - Develop strategies to reduce lead times and enhance production efficiency. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with company goals. - Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors. - Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance to senior management. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree/MBA preferred. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment and manage multiple priorities. - Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools. - Experience working with international vendors and understanding of global supply chain dynamics.
