Supply Chain Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for optimizing inventory levels, implementing efficient storage systems,ensuring accuratee stock records, and coordinating with internal teams to meet operational requirements.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive automobile procurement strategy aligned with the company's objectives and cost-saving targets.
• Identify, assess, and select automobile suppliers, considering factors such as vehicle quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and after-sales support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize vehicle specifications, develop comprehensive bid packages, and evaluate proposals.
• Monitor contract compliance and performance, addressing any contractual disputes or non-compliance issues.
• Implement cost control measures to optimize procurement spend without compromising quality or operational requirements.
• Provide input and recommendations for fleet optimization, includingehicle selection, fuel efficiency, and sustainability considerations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Procurement, supply chain, and fleet management. Sourcing, supplier management, and cost control.
• Financial analysis, compliances, and contract negotiation.
• Embodying Company Values, Functional/Technical Knowledge, Communication, Ownership
• Any bachelors degree
• 4-5 years of experience in supply chain management.
