Supply Chain Associate (Material Data) on third party payroll

Job Purpose

The Supply Chain Associate is responsible for managing and maintaining master data, focusing on material and customer data. This role ensures data accuracy, completeness, and readiness for transactions, optimizing data flow between users and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Material & Customer Master Data Setup:

• Prepare master templates for new product launches in the USA region using SAP MM.
• Coordinate with project leads to gather necessary material master data for timely product launches and deliveries.

Material Production & Procurement:

• Manage material production and procurement processes from Loan Licensing (LL) plants to the USA region using SAP PP.
• Execute MRP runs, process

Reports Preparation/Automation:

• Generate sales reports for inbound shipments from different entities to the USA region and outbound shipments from CIPLA USA to various customers.
• Analyse inventory and shipment data to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Support analytics requirements related to the SCM function.
• Automate daily reports using Excel VBA based on business requirements.

EDI Transactions Monitoring:

• Daily monitoring and troubleshooting of EDI transactions (EDI 944, 856, 947, 888, 846).
• Perform root cause analysis and timely resolution of EDI failures to avoid business transaction delays.

Business Requirements & Enhancements:

• Understand business requirements for new SAP enhancements and prepare related templates
• Coordinate with SAP functional and technical teams for smooth transfer and timely implementation of new enhancements
• . Understand all the custom tables and transactions for master data maintenance (Customer & Material) for troubleshooting issues with technical teams.

End-to-End Testing:

• Perform end-to-end testing of business s scenarios, including custom developments and routine/non-routine change requests

Serialization Data Preparation:

• Prepare serialization data as per DSCSA requirements and ensure standardization of product and partner data.

• Manage material and customer master data for serialization in Trace Link & 3PL systems.

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Coordinate with third-party teams for smooth EDI transaction flow & CMO portal transactions.
• Work with various stakeholders to address missing or incomplete material and customer master data.
• Coordinate with 3PL for reviewing the inbound, inventory, and outbound KPIs.

Master Data Maintenance:

• Oversee all material master creation/change requests, including new launches, MOQ changes, product allocation, DIMs, HTS codes, and FDA codes
• .Manage customer-related master data changes, including new customer creation requests, sales group creation tickets, bank details modification, and contact information changes.
• Validate and upload master data templates for BFG, API, RM/PM.

Backup & Cross-Training:

• Provide backup and cross-training for other associates to ensure business continuity and implement best practices

Education and Experience, Skills & Competencies

• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 1 year master data management experience
• Minimum of 1 year of ERP experience with proficiency in SAP MM, PP, and EDI modules
• Extensive experience in supply chain management and data analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Proficiency in Excel VBA/Python for report automation
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment operating in dual time zone (supporting US hours)
• Strong understanding of business processes and requirements
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• Analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve EDI failures or inventory discrepancies promptly
• Knowledge of DSCSA requirements and serialization data preparation
