Job Description

ROLE OBJECTIVE

This job description is for a supply chain analyst focused on supporting the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between supply chain business processes and the technical capabilities of the new ERP system, ensuring a smooth transition and continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

ERP Implementation Support

Serve as a key liaison between the global SAP implementation team and local supply chain teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements.
Participate in the configuration, testing (including unit, integration, and UAT), and deployment of SAP S/4HANA modules related to supply chain, such as Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Warehouse Management (WM), and Sales and Distribution (SD).
Conduct a gap analysis between current supply chain processes and the capabilities of SAP S/4HANA, providing recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
Support data migration and validation activities to ensure data integrity and accuracy in the new S/4HANA system.
Develop and execute test scripts, managing and resolving defects in collaboration with technical teams.
Assist in creating training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users on new S/4HANA processes and functionalities. ERP-Driven Changes and Improvement Actions.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging SAP S/4HANA's advanced capabilities, such as real-time analytics, demand forecasting, and embedded machine learning.
Analyze supply chain data using S/4HANA reporting tools and other business intelligence platforms to identify process bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and measure performance against KPIs.
Collaborate with global and local teams to standardize and optimize supply chain processes across different regions.
Provide ongoing functional support to end-users post-go-live, troubleshooting ERP-related issues and ensuring system utilization.
Manage change by communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and buy-in for proposed solutions

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, information systems, or a related field.
Proven experience in a supply chain analyst role within a manufacturing or logistics environment is preferred.
Prior experience supporting an SAP or other major ERP implementation project is highly desirable.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA specifically, particularly in logistics or supply chain modules, is a significant asset.

Skills and Abilities

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights to improve supply chain performance.
ERP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes and how they are managed within an ERP system.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams, including technical developers, business stakeholders, and end-users.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
