Job Description

rocess-relatedRole & responsibilities

The Supplier Quality Chemicals is responsible for ensuring all raw material and
chemical suppliers meet company quality, safety, and regulatory standards incl REACh etc..
This includes qualifying new suppliers, routine supplier assessment, monitoring ongoing supplier
performance.
Addressing quality issues i.e. CAPA / NCR Closure, Ensuring sign-off of Supplier
Quality Service Agreement and developing long-term supplier improvement plans in alignment
with product stewardship.
Sustainability, and compliance frameworks, Including representing various ISOs and other procurement process related internal and External Audits and subsequently working on closure of related audit points.
This position will also be custodian of Procurement SOPs and time to time updating the same in line with improvement plans.
Evaluate and qualify new suppliers of raw materials, solvents, intermediates, catalysts, and
packaging including toll producer / contract manufacturer.
Conduct supplier audits focusing on production, QC, HSE, ESG and documentation controls.
Ensure suppliers comply with internal standards and regulatory norms like BIS, FDA, EU/US
chemical regulations.
Collaborate with QC, R&D, ESG, and plant teams to define incoming inspection plans for
high-risk chemicals and specialty additives.
Identify and resolve quality issues with incoming materials and components, working with
Confidential suppliers and cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Deep knowledge of specialty and industrial chemicals, regulatory documentation and supplier quality frameworks.
Preferred: Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001) or Six Sigma certification.
Hands-on experience with quality tools (FMEA, 8D, CAPA, RCA, SPC, MOC process).
Working knowledge of REACH, OSHA, BIS, and global compliance standards.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Excel, and audit tracking systems.
