Job Description

Role Overview: As a supervisor in a real estate project, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction or development activities. Your responsibilities will include monitoring progress to ensure that the work is proceeding according to the project schedule, budget, and quality standards. You will be managing site activities by overseeing workers, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Quality control will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring that all work meets the required standards and complies with local regulations, zoning laws, and building codes. Safety compliance is also important, and you will be responsible for ensuring that all safety regulations are followed to minimize risks to workers and maintain a safe working environment. Resource management will be another key responsibility, where you will manage materials, tools, and equipment to ensure they are available and used efficiently on the site. Reporting regularly to the Civil engineer on the progress of the project and highlighting any issues that may need attention will be part of your duties. Problem-solving skills will be essential as you work to resolve any issues that arise, whether they involve delays, resource shortages, or quality concerns. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to interact with clients, stakeholders, or real estate developers to provide updates and ensure expectations are met. Key Responsibilities: - Monitoring Progress: Ensure construction or development work aligns with project schedule, budget, and quality standards. - Managing Site Activities: Oversee workers, subcontractors, and personnel on-site for safe and efficient completion of tasks. - Quality Control: Ensure work meets required standards and complies with regulations and building codes. - Safety Compliance: Follow safety regulations to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment. - Resource Management: Manage materials, tools, and equipment efficiently on the site. - Reporting: Provide regular project progress updates to the Civil engineer and address any issues. - Problem-Solving: Resolve issues related to delays, resource shortages, or quality concerns. - Client Interaction: Communicate with clients, stakeholders, or real estate developers to provide updates and meet expectations. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in a supervisory role in the real estate or construction industry. - Knowledge of local regulations, zoning laws, and building codes. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage resources efficiently and ensure quality and safety standards are met. - Client-facing experience is a plus.
