Supermarket Manager

The primary responsibility of this role is to meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff. You will be required to complete store administration tasks, including managing inventory, scheduling staff, and ordering supplies. Maintaining an outstanding store condition is crucial, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and health standards. You will also be responsible for dealing with any issues that arise from staff or customers, resolving conflicts, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, your duties will include replenishing items in the racks, ensuring that all products are properly displayed, conducting regular inspections to identify and address maintenance or repair needs, and monitoring sales trends to adjust merchandising strategies accordingly. The qualifications for this position include having 0-1 years of previous experience as a supermarket manager or in a similar role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff effectively. Excellent organizational and time management skills are required, along with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary, as well as knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a degree in business administration or a related field preferred. This is a full-time job with a morning shift schedule and shift allowance.
