The Deputy Manager for Electrical Maintenance in the SUP-EM-Maint-Coating department is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the electrical maintenance operations. This position requires a seasoned professional with 8 to 12 years of experience in electrical maintenance and engineering. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of HT/LT switchgear and control systems, as well as proficiency in PLC, drives, instrumentation, and power management. The Deputy Manager will be instrumental in implementing best maintenance practices, including Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and simulation-based analysis to achieve measurable maintenance results such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). Expertise in SCADA and PLC software is essential. The role also requires a global mindset, business acumen, and people management skills to drive excellence and entrepreneurship within the team. The Deputy Manager will ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and contribute to maximizing machine uptime through effective breakdown analysis and corrective actions.

Oversee and manage the maintenance of PLC ACDC drives and induction units ensuring optimal performance and reliabilitybr Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of HT LT breakers AC DC motors temperature controllers switchgear and startersbr Utilize SAP knowledge to maintain industrial safety and ensure proper housekeeping of departmental electrical systems and spares in accordance with OHSAS and EMS standardsbr Maximize machine uptime by promptly attending to breakdowns analyzing issues and implementing corrective actions for both repetitive and nonrepetitive breakdownsbr Maintain thorough documentation as per Standard Operating Procedures SOP for all maintenance activities including inhouse repairing and overhauling of sparesbr Monitor electrical parameters and controls during shift operations to ensure optimal performance and safetybr Coordinate the issuance and arrangement of electrical spares required for breakdown maintenance jobs and shutdown implementationsbr Implement shutdown jobs as per the shutdown plan supporting planning engineers in documenting activities according to specified SOP formatsbr Manage internal projects ensuring timely implementation as per schedule and provide onthejob training to fitters to enhance their skills and efficiencybr Ensure effective system implementation and improvement by following SAP systems QMS OHSAS and EMS standards and modifying electrical systems as per planbr Manage the wage management system for fitters and ensure system backup and data storage coordinating with preventive engineers for necessary backups
