Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading the performance and lifecycle strategy of the Sportstech Live App as a Subscription Growth & Retention Manager. Your main objective will be to increase user conversion, enhance app engagement, and reduce churn to establish long-term subscriber value. Collaboration with various teams including product, marketing, data, and design is essential to optimize the user journey at every stage. Effective communication skills are crucial as you will present insights, drive campaigns, and influence strategies across departments. Key Responsibilities: - Increase trial-to-paid and visitor-to-subscriber conversion through data-driven testing and messaging. - Develop and manage onboarding experiences to drive user activation and habit formation. - Analyze user behavior, identify churn risk, and implement proactive retention strategies. - Conduct A/B and multivariate tests across app flows, pricing, messaging, and CRM. - Launch and oversee multi-channel lifecycle campaigns (email, in-app, push notifications). - Own and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, churn, LTV, renewal, and win-back. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Creative, Data, and Customer Success teams. - Support App Store Optimization (ASO) efforts to increase app visibility and downloads. - Monitor industry trends and benchmark competitors in the fitness and health tech sectors. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in subscription growth, lifecycle marketing, CRM, or digital product optimization. - Strong grasp of user behavior, conversion funnels, and retention metrics. - Experience with A/B testing platforms such as Firebase, Amplitude, or Optimizely. - Proficient analytical skills using SQL, Excel, or BI tools to derive actionable insights. - Familiarity with lifecycle platforms like Braze, Iterable, Leanplum, or similar. - Experience in freemium or trial-to-paid subscription business models. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure alignment across teams and effectively communicate campaign outcomes and product enhancements.
