i. Gap Analysis Support: Assist the Team Leader in preparation of questionaries for collecting primary data, collecting secondary,

conducting comprehensive survey, gap analysis across identified fisheries clusters, collecting and analyzing data related to population, infrastructure, technology, resources available and resource needs.

ii. Research and Benchmarking: Conduct research on best practices in fisheries management, sustainable practices, and cluster development to support strategic recommendations.

iii. Field Assessments and Data Collection: Engage with local stakeholders, conduct on- ground assessments, and compile data on cluster performance, stakeholder requirements, and existing challenges.

iv. Support Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of strategic frameworks, providing data and insights to inform targeted interventions and sustainable solutions.

v. Policy and Regulatory Review: Support the review of existing policies and regulations, identifying areas of alignment and opportunities for policy integration.

vi. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and updates for submission to the Team Leader, ensuring thorough documentation of analysis, findings, and recommendations.

B. Key Deliverables to be immediately handled

i. Coordinate with the field level experts appointed through Dr Aqua Solutions as and prepare the draft reports in the format desired by

NFDB.

ii. Provide inputs for plan date wise to prepare final reports and submit to CE-NFDB and VP-ZOH

iii. Attend the weekly physical meeting with CE NFDB to present the progress made as per the plan submitted

iv. Presentation of final reports in VC with NFDB and Ministries

v. Participation in virtual meetings scheduled by NABCONS, NFDB and Ministries

vi. Identify Institutions / Start-ups both domestic and international providing technology/ export potential/ equipment/ know-how/ knowledge sharing/ training/ tie-ups for respective cluster growth/ development/ upliftment and channelizing the partnership with NFDB.

vii. Correspondence over email and phone with the identified institutions.

viii. Organising and participating the virtual meetings to filter relevant stakeholders and arrange virtual/online/VC or physical meeting with NFDB

Educational Qualification Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.)

Other Requirements

Good command in written, spoken English and Should be proficient in

local languages. Proficiency in MS Word /Excel and PowerPoint with

excellent communication and data management skills

11. General Information:

• Only Shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Location for the interview will be indicated in the call letter. The candidates may kindly note that any cost incurred by them for attending the interview will not be reimbursed by NABCONS.
• The applicant may submit the declaration in the Google form with respect to the educational qualification and experience. Self-attested copies of educational qualifications and experience certificates to be compulsorily submitted at the time of the interview. Original documents would be required for verification once rank listed.
• List of selected and waitlisted candidates for the post will be uploaded in NABCONS website (www.nabcons.com) after the selection process is completed. The validity of the selection list and waitlisted candidates will be co-terminus with the project.
• No correspondence will be entertained from any ineligible and non-selected candidate in all matter regarding eligibility, the selection process, documents to be produced for the selection process, assessment, prescribing minimum qualifying standards, number of vacancies, communication of result etc. the companys decision shall be final and binding on the candidates and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
• The final appointment will be based on the decision of selection committee constituted for the purpose. Company reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of posts or not to fill up any of the posts.
• The appointment shall be subject to being found medically fit, for which purpose the candidate shall be required to undergo the protocol of medical tests upon reporting at place of posting.

The continuance in NABCONSs service shall be subject to remaining medically fit to discharge duties and responsibilities. The decision of NABCONS regarding medical fitness shall be final and binding on the candidate.

• Merely satisfying the eligibly criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for the interview. NABCONS reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for the interview depending on number of responses, after preliminary screening / shortlisting with reference to candidate's qualification, suitability, experience, etc.
• Applications received after the due date shall not be entertained and will be rejected.
• Under no circumstances, applications by hand or any other mode will be entertained. The application submitted through online mode provided in this advertisement will only be accepted.
• The contractually engaged staff shall have no legal claim to regular absorption either during the period of contract or after the period of contract expires. Similarly, the Contract Appointee will have no claims as to seniority
