Subject Matter Specialist

You will be joining our team as a COB Validation Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in validating coordination of benefits for members with multiple insurance coverage. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate application of COB rules, collaborating with insurance carriers and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Additionally, you will be expected to stay updated on insurance policies, COB regulations, and industry standards. Communication with internal teams, clients, and external parties to facilitate proper claims resolution will also be a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, you will be responsible for generating and preparing reports related to COB activities, claims issues, and resolutions. To excel in this role, you must have a strong familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or reporting tools would be advantageous. It is important to note that experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) or Accounts Receivable (AR) is not required for this position. While not mandatory, having an understanding of data analytics, statistics, and data management concepts would be beneficial. Proven experience in working within a fast-paced environment supporting multiple concurrent projects is also a plus.
