Study Abroad Counselor

Roles & responsibilities We are seeking a Student Success & Admissions Counselor to support international students already in the USA who need guidance on Day 1 CPT universities, affordable transfers, SEVIS reinstatement, H1B challenges, and change-of-status cases. You will provide accurate, ethical, and student-focused counseling while helping students choose the right universities. Comprehensive training will be provided. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, a strong desire to help students, and the ability to guide them professionally and confidently. Preferred candidate profile Excellent communication skills (English mandatory) Strong interpersonal skills with a student-first attitude Ability to confidently guide students facing academic or immigration-related challenges Quick learner willing to undergo comprehensive training on Day 1 CPT, SEVIS, OPT/STEM OPT, and university processes Prior experience in student counseling, admissions, customer support, or study abroad guidance is an advantage Organized and able to manage multiple student cases at once Familiarity with U.S. education system or F-1 visa basics is a plus (not mandatory) Problem-solving mindset with patience and empathy Ability to work flexible hours to support students in the USA
