Study Abroad Counsellor

As an Undergraduate Counsellor at Collegepond and Converge, your role will involve providing personalized guidance to students regarding undergraduate programs, university selection, and career pathways in countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Your key responsibilities will include: - Student Counseling: Offering personalized guidance to students to help them make informed decisions about their academic and career goals. - Application Assistance: Assisting students in preparing and submitting university applications, including reviewing personal statements, resumes, and other necessary documents. - Visa Guidance: Providing information and support on student visa requirements and application procedures for various countries. - Information Sessions: Conducting seminars and workshops to educate students and parents about study abroad opportunities, application timelines, and admission requirements. - Profile Evaluation: Assessing students" academic backgrounds and extracurricular activities to recommend suitable programs and institutions. - Collaboration: Collaborating closely with university representatives and internal teams to stay updated on admission criteria and program offerings. - Record Maintenance: Ensuring accurate records of student interactions, application statuses, and follow-up activities are maintained. Qualifications required for this position include: - A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in student counseling or related fields. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of undergraduate programs and study abroad opportunities. - Familiarity with university application processes and visa requirements.
