As an experienced Senior Interior Designer, your role will involve developing strategic design plans with projected timelines and budgets. You will be responsible for creating storyboards and mockups to help visualize the completed project for clients and the design team. Your key responsibilities will include pitching ideas and the creative vision to clients, choosing design elements for various projects, and overseeing design projects from start to finish. You will lead the interior design team, ensuring that the firm's creative vision is implemented throughout all project phases. In addition, you will be expected to mentor and develop designers and team members, serve as the primary liaison with clients and stakeholders, manage project budgets, and participate in fee negotiations and business development strategies. Your leadership skills will be crucial in driving the design excellence and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also play a key role in contributing to company growth strategies and commercial decisions. Qualifications required for this role include: - 15+ years of experience in a similar role - Degree or qualification in interior design, architecture, or a related field - Previous experience in a leadership position, ideally with a top-tier firm - Proficient knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers Your exceptional leadership skills, combined with your proficiency in design software and qualifications in interior design, will be instrumental in ensuring the success of design projects under your supervision.
