Student Counselor

Job description:

As a Student Admission Counsellor, you will play a key role in mentoring students and helping them choose the right pathway for overseas education. Your responsibilities will include:

Guiding students through the complete admission process, from enquiry to enrolment, including course and university selection.

Providing accurate information about study programs, eligibility criteria, tuition fees, scholarships, and career prospects.

Assisting students with documentation, application submissions, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Advising students on visa application procedures, financial requirements, and interview preparation.

Handling student queries via phone, email, and in-person counselling sessions.

Participating in fairs, university events, and promotional activities organized by ESC.

Maintaining detailed records of student applications and follow-ups in CRM systems.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, or related roles within the education industry.

Strong knowledge of European universities and study abroad requirements (experience with UK/Canada/Australia admissions is an added advantage).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong student and parent rapport.

Ability to work independently as well as within a team, with a target-driven mindset.

Passion for education, career development, and mentoring students.
