Student Counselor Cum Hr Assistant

Summary :A student counselor should get maximum admissions to the company for our particular AI and software training programs and to deal the students with batches and interview skills.

Responsibilities:

• Student Advising: Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to students to assist with academic planning, course selection, and career development.
• Personal Counseling: Offer confidential support and guidance to students facing personal challenges, such as stress, anxiety, or mental health issues.
• Crisis Intervention: Respond promptly and effectively to students in crisis or emergency situations, including referring them to appropriate resources or services.
• Program Development: Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement programs that promote student engagement, retention, and success.
• Student Advocacy: Advocate for students' needs and rights within the institution, ensuring a supportive and inclusive campus environment.
• Outreach and Education: Conduct workshops, seminars, and outreach activities to educate students on various topics related to academic success, personal development, and well-being.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student interactions in accordance with confidentiality policies and regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with academic advisors, faculty members, and other campus departments to coordinate support services and resources for students.
• Continuous Learning: Stay informed about current trends and best practices in student counseling and higher education to enhance counseling services.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related field.

· Previous experience in counseling, student services, or related roles preferred.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.

· Knowledge of counseling techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and ethical guidelines.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

· Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in a higher education setting.
