Student Counselor and Centre Manager

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Counselling & Student Support:

• Interact with students and parents to provide basic guidance on suitable courses and services.
• Conduct initial counselling sessions and follow up on leads through calls/messages.
• Maintain student progress records and ensure timely communication regarding performance and assigned tasks.
• Address student concerns and coordinate with faculty to provide support as needed.

Center & Academic Operations Management:

• Manage daily center operations, including class schedules, classroom readiness, attendance tracking, and student portal updates.
• Coordinate with teachers, faculty, and external trainers to ensure smooth lesson delivery.
• Handle student registrations, fee documentation, receipt issuance, and basic admin paperwork.

Communication & Coordination:

• Communicate class schedules, exam dates, assignments, and important notices through WhatsApp/Email,/Calls.
• Support planning and execution of workshops, mock tests, parent interactions, and counselling events.
• Maintain strong rapport with students, parents, and stakeholders.
• Well-organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple tasks.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Experience Required: 1–4 years in Counselling / Education / Coaching Centre Operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English, Hindi and Bengali).
• Basic knowledge of entrance exams/study patterns is an advantage.
• Confidence in using Google Sheets, Calendar, and WhatsApp/CRM platforms.
