Brief

A. Counselling Services

Conduct individual and group counselling for students, addressing academic, emotional, and behavioural concerns
Provide behavioural guidance and support to teachers and staff
Engage with parents via counselling or awareness sessions related to child safety, digital wellbeing, and emotional development
Counselling and grooming the support staff
Guide students during
subject stream selection
and higher education pathways.
Maintain
confidential student records
and counselling notes.

B. Teaching Duties

Teach
Moral Values
,
Life Skills
, and
Ethics
classes as per CBSE curriculum design
Deliver periodic sessions for
boarding/hostel students
focusing on emotional wellness, peer interactions, moral values and Communication skills etc.
Facilitate workshops or orientation programs for students, parents and teachers as per the requirement.

Required Qualifications:

Graduate/Post-Graduate in Psychology or Child Development, or a Graduate/Post-Graduate with a Diploma in Career Guidance & Counselling.
Minimum 25 years of counselling experience (preferably in a CBSE/recognized school setting)

Required Skills:

Strong interpersonal & empathetic communication skills
Knowledge of psychometric/aptitude testing tools
Ability to conduct group sessions & workshops
Confidentiality, patience, and crisis management skills
