Position:

Objective

Structural Stability Awareness & Inspection Training

Scope of Work / Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training on

  failure modes, inspection techniques, and indicators of structural distress

  .
• Conduct

  interactive classroom sessions

  explaining key deterioration mechanisms in civil and steel structures.
• Demonstrate

  field-based inspection methods

  including:

• Visual Inspections:

  cracks, corrosion, spalling, deflection, and settlement.

• NDT Techniques for Concrete Structures:

  Core Test, Rebound Hammer, Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV), Carbonation, Chloride Profile, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Half-Cell Potential, Ultrasonic Tomography.

• NDT Techniques for Steel Structures:

  Close Visual Inspection, Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM), Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT).
• Incorporate

  real-world industrial case studies

  and best practices.
• Administer

  pre- and post-training quizzes

  to evaluate learning outcomes.
• Facilitate

  participant engagement and query resolution

  during and after the session.
• Submit a

  detailed post-training report

  including:
• Session summary
  
• Participant attendance
  
• Feedback compilation
  
• Recommendations for ongoing monitoring/improvement

Desired Profile

• Qualification:

  B.E./B.Tech. in Civil/Structural Engineering (M.Tech preferred)

• Experience:

  Minimum 8–10 years in structural inspection, auditing, or NDT-based structural health monitoring

• Certifications (Preferred):

  NDT Level II/III, R&D in Structural Integrity, or relevant civil inspection training

• Skills:

• Proficiency in NDT tools and structural evaluation
  
• Strong communication and technical presentation skills
  
• Hands-on experience with inspection documentation and reporting
