Structural Site Engineer

Structural Site Engineer is responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of buildings and other structures during construction. They analyse designs, oversee construction, and ensure compliance with safety standards. This involves coordinating construction work, preparing documents, resolving issues, and providing technical guidance.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Analysis: Structural Site Engineers analyse designs, calculate loads and stresses, and ensure structures are safe and stable.
• Construction Oversight: They monitor and inspect construction work, ensuring it aligns with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Material Selection: They assess the suitability of construction materials like steel, concrete, and timber.
• Documentation: They prepare detailed structural drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Risk Management: They identify potential hazards and propose mitigation measures.
• Collaboration: They work with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
• Problem Solving: They resolve structural issues and provide technical advice.
• Project Management: They may manage multiple projects and administer contracts.
