Structural Site Engineer

You are an experienced Structural Site Engineer with a strong background in the construction of bridges, flyovers, culverts, pedestrian underpasses (PUP), and vehicular underpasses (VUP) for highway projects. Your main responsibility will be overseeing structural works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. You will supervise and execute structural works for bridges, flyovers, culverts, PUPs, and VUPs in highway construction. Your role involves interpreting and implementing structural drawings, design specifications, and project plans on-site. Monitoring construction activities, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project timelines is crucial. You must ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental guidelines at the construction site. Additionally, managing structural modifications, technical challenges, and problem-solving related to site execution will be a part of your duties. It is also expected that you prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site records, and documentation for project tracking. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 1 year of experience in the structural execution of highway projects involving bridges, flyovers, culverts, PUP, and VUP. Strong knowledge of structural design principles, construction techniques, and material specifications is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project, and other civil engineering software is considered an advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and teamwork are necessary to manage site challenges effectively. Strong communication skills are essential to liaise with multiple stakeholders. You should also be able to work in challenging site conditions and ensure timely project completion. This is a full-time job with the flexibility of working day shifts and rotational shifts. You must be able to commute or relocate to Vellore, Tamil Nadu, before starting work. Knowledge of Hindi, Tamil, and English languages is preferred. The work location is in person in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.,
