Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD & Structural Engineer to join our construction team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design, detailing, and analysis, along with proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing accurate technical drawings and construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review structural drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Perform structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, project managers, and site engineers to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
• Conduct site inspections to verify structural integrity and drawing implementation.
• Assist in the preparation of BOQs, material specifications, and technical reports.
• Review design modifications and provide technical recommendations as needed.
• Maintain proper documentation of design revisions and project updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in structural design and AutoCAD drafting within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of IS codes, RCC, and steel structures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Revit Structure or BIM software is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing and load path analysis.
