Structural Engineer - Construction

Role Overview: You will be joining the construction team in Chennai as an experienced AutoCAD & Structural Engineer. Your role will involve working on structural design, detailing, and analysis while using AutoCAD to create accurate technical drawings and construction documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review structural drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD. - Perform structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. - Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. - Coordinate with architects, project managers, and site engineers to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. - Conduct site inspections to verify structural integrity and drawing implementation. - Assist in the preparation of BOQs, material specifications, and technical reports. - Review design modifications and provide technical recommendations as needed. - Maintain proper documentation of design revisions and project updates. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent. - Minimum 4 years of experience in structural design and AutoCAD drafting within the construction industry. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and MS Office. - Strong understanding of IS codes, RCC, and steel structures. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills. - Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.
