Structural Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop detailed civil and structural drawings as per project requirements.
• Draft layouts, sections, and reinforcement details in AutoCAD/Revit as per project requirements.
• Maintain and update drawing records, revisions, and document control for ongoing projects.
• Coordinate closely with structural engineers to ensure accuracy of drawings and compliance with design intent.
• Assist in preparation of fabrication drawings and detailing for Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEBs).
• Support cross-disciplinary coordination with Architecture, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing teams for integrated project delivery.
• Ensure drawings meet quality standards, project specifications, and relevant IS/BS codes.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Civil or Structural Drafting/Engineering.
• 7–12 years of drafting experience in structural design consultancy or engineering firms.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (latest version); working knowledge of Revit is desirable.
• Understanding of RCC and steel structures, reinforcement detailing, and construction drawings.
• Good knowledge of Indian Standards (IS Codes); familiarity with BS/Eurocodes is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation practices.
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Preferred: Candidates from Gujarat or those open to relocation to Ahmedabad.
