Job Description

About theRole:

The Civil StructuralEngineer will be responsible fordeveloping structuralcalculations, foundation, from conceptual design through construction . The ideal candidatewill have 5 - 8 years of experience in StructuralDesign and be proficient with STAAD Pro.

You are expected to do:

Havehands-on experience in foundation & structural designs for power plantsand/or heavy industrial projects .

Havehands-on experience in structural calculations , develop engineeringreports, studies, specifications , and design drawings.

DesigningMachine/Equipment Foundations in power plant projects

Reviewrelevant codes, design documents, specifications, and construction documents tosupport structural design and project development.

StructuralDesigning of large plant modules (prefabricated, transportable) including Basic& Detailed of Primary steel design, Secondary Steel Design for piping andequipment supports

Prepareengineering designs and drawings while adhering to project specifications,scope of work, and budgets/schedules.

Requirements

You will be a Great fit, if youhave :

B.E/M.E in Civil Engineering or Related Fields of Study.

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering and Design.

Experiencewith simple and combined cycle, retrofits gas-based Power Plants up to 800 MW.

Handson experience in Software such as STAAD Pro , ANSYS etc.

Experiencein North American Projects and Proficient in codes such as ABS, AISC, ACI,ASCE, IBC, ASME, AWS, API.
