Structural Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural analysis and design of bridges (steel, concrete, PSC, composite, and modular structures) in accordance with relevant national and international standards (e.g., AASHTO, IRC, IS codes, Eurocodes).
  
• Design structural components such as girders, decks, piers, abutments, bearings, expansion joints, and foundations.

• Prepare and review design reports, calculation sheets, technical notes, and justification reports.
  
• Develop and review detailed engineering drawings, general arrangement drawings (GADs), and reinforcement detailing in collaboration with CAD teams.
  
• Ensure all documentation meets project quality requirements and design standards.

• Collaborate with project managers, civil/roadway engineers, geotechnical teams, and contractors to ensure aligned design solutions.
  
• Review and respond to RFIs, design queries, and construction-related issues.

Preferred candidate profile

Hands on experience into Structural Design and analysis of Major and Minor Bridges and other structues.
