Job Description

As an Industrial Structural Design Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in structural design of industrial structures for international projects related to Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Petrochemical industries, your primary qualification should be a BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Your expertise must include utilizing software like STAAD-PRO, SAP, and ROBOT SAFE for structural analysis and design of various technological structures, including process platforms, pipe racks, foundations (Isolated and Raft), pile and equipment foundation, and machine foundations. You should be skilled at interacting with clients and consultants for drawing approvals and working independently to meet deadlines while ensuring project quality remains uncompromised. You should be well-versed in implementing building codes and design standards such as ASCE, ACI, IBC, AISC, and Euro-EN CBC in your structural designs. Your responsibilities will involve analyzing and designing steel and concrete structures, checking fabrication drawings, vendor drawings, design reports, and rebar detailing drawings. Additionally, you will ensure proper interface detailing with other departments, coordinate with clients and consultants, and lead the project delivery team to successfully implement client instructions. Your role will include reviewing and commenting on designs at different stages, providing status reports to internal teams, and maintaining a close watch on the master time schedule to ensure timely delivery. Your ownership of the team's delivery and your ability to manage the project team effectively are crucial for the successful execution of projects. The job requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Your work will significantly contribute to the successful completion of industrial projects in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, and Petrochemical sectors.
