Position Overview: The QA & Testing Senior Advisor is responsible for strategizing and implementing QA practices and process across the PBM organization. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and adhering to Safe agile practices. The candidate will work with the team in designing and ensuring overall integrity of the testing strategy. The QA will also work closely with Software Developers and other testers in small scrum teams to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner. Specific duties and responsibilities include creating, comparing and manipulating data, creating, maintaining and executing test plans and test cases, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day-to-day testing activities. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring regression test scripts are current and are in the appropriate format for automation. This role provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Q&A matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. The candidate will also provide consultation at the highest technical level to project teams and client areas assisting with the successful development and implementation of effective computer systems applications across multiple computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server). This role provides thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines and will acts as a lead within the team in mentoring junior team members. Support all post implementation activities, such as post implementation testing and lessons learned analysis Qualifications: Required Skills: Proficiency with most of the following technologies- test automation, selenium, sauce labs, Java, Selenium, Test NG, Cucumber, Strong SQL Testing and triaging of defects and issues. Knowledge of defect tracking / task tools such as Jira and Confluence. Knowledge of build automation and deployment tools such as Jenkins as well as source code repository tools such as Git. Good understanding of multiple test automation frameworks Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Strong influencing/negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal/relationship skills. Strong time and project management skills. Familiarity with agile methodology including SCRUM team leadership. Familiarity with modern delivery practices such as continuous integration, behavior/test driven development, and specification by example. Required Experience & Education: 8-11 years of experience Experience with an onshore / offshore model. Proven experience with testing large-scale enterprise application solutions.
