.POSITION OVERVIEW

Capri Global Capital Limited seeks strategic talent to join as Strategy Lead - Gold Loans (MD Office) as part of MD office team. This is a critical Role with responsibility for driving enterprise-level strategic initiatives across the Gold Loans vertical, with primary office location at Lower Parel, Mumbai. The Strategy Lead will work closely in the guidance of MD office team, Chief Business Officer, and senior leadership in Gold Loan business to shape product strategy, market expansion, operational excellence, and regulatory positioning across all geographies while maintaining focus on profitability, risk management, and strategic growth.

This is a high-impact position requiring sharp analytical acumen, consulting-level strategic thinking, and deep understanding of financial services and organizational dynamics and he will be responsible to drive initiatives that define Capri's competitive positioning in the rapidly evolving gold lending market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning & Enterprise-Level Execution

- As part of MD office strategy team work on comprehensive 3-5 year strategy for Gold Loans vertical at enterprise level, encompassing national AUM growth targets, profitability roadmap, market penetration plans, product innovation roadmap, and expansion initiatives across geographies.

- Conduct rigorous market analysis, competitive benchmarking, customer segmentation studies, and macro-economic trend analysis to identify growth opportunities and threats across India.

- Create actionable business plans with clear KPIs, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies for national rollout with regional customization.

- Present strategic recommendations to MD office, with data-driven insights, financial impact assessments, and scenario planning

- Support MD office in board meetings and investor presentations with strategic insights and performance narratives.

Growth Strategy Initiatives

- Work with Senior Leadership Team on branch network optimization, new market entry strategy, geographic penetration, and channel partnerships across India.

- Identify and evaluate strategic partnership opportunities with fintech platforms, digital channels, banks, payment systems, and alternative distribution networks to drive customer acquisition at scale.

- Drive revenue growth through product enhancements, pricing optimization, cross-sell/upsell strategies, customer lifecycle management, and portfolio optimization.

- Analyse the P&L for strategic growth initiatives and ensure accountability through monthly performance tracking, course correction, and scenario planning and share the recommendation with MD office and senior leadership in Gold Loans.

- Develop market entry strategies for tier-2/tier-3 towns and new customer segments (SMEs, digital-first, HNI segments).

Product & Innovation Strategy at Enterprise Level

- Research and recommend next-generation gold lending products tailored to emerging customer segments (digital-first customers, high-net-worth individuals, SME segments, recurring borrowers).

- Evaluate and recommend technology integration opportunities including digital onboarding, AI-powered credit assessment, blockchain-based collateral management, and API-based ecosystem partnerships.

- Lead cost optimization and margin improvement initiatives to improve operational margins while maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction standards.

- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, fintech disruption, and emerging technologies to keep Capri ahead of market evolution.

- Recommend product innovation priorities and resource allocation across product development teams.

Performance Management, Analytics & Business Intelligence

- Own comprehensive business intelligence dashboards and analytics infrastructure tracking AUM, customer acquisition metrics, NPA rates, operational efficiency, profitability metrics, and market share.

- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on performance gaps, market trends, and competitive moves; implement data-driven corrective measures.

- Lead monthly/quarterly business reviews with regional teams, business heads, and MD office ; provide strategic performance narratives.

- Develop predictive models for customer behavior, market demand, portfolio performance, and economic scenarios.

- Create executive dashboards and analytical tools for MD office and Senior Leadership.

Investor & Stakeholder Communications

- Support MD office in stakeholder communications including investor relation, presentations, earnings calls, and strategic updates.

- Develop business cases and investment proposals for new initiatives, expansions, and strategic partnerships.

- Prepare market analysis reports, competitive positioning documents, and strategic white papers for internal and external stakeholders.

- Maintain competitive intelligence and market landscape reports for board consumption.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Background (Mandatory)

- Full-time MBA from Tier 1 B-Schools ONLY/ CA.

Professional Experience (Mandatory)

- Batch Passout: 2020, 2021, 2022, or 2023 (post-MBA)

- Consulting Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of full-time work experience at Tier 1 Business Consulting Firms.

Domain Expertise:

  - Financial Services sector (BFSI) with focus on banking, lending, or fintech.

  - Lending or fintech domain (retail lending, SME lending, digital lending preferred).

  - Product strategy in financial services.

  - NBFC, bank, or lending platform case work and engagements.

Technical Skills

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, scenario modeling, financial analysis.

- Strong working knowledge of Power BI / Tableau / Looker for data visualization, dashboarding, and analytics.

- Experience with financial modeling (DCF analysis, sensitivity analysis, scenario building, valuation models).

- SQL or Python for data manipulation and analysis preferred (not mandatory but valued).

- Presentation skills with ability to create compelling executive presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote).

Location

- Primary Office: Lower Parel, Mumbai (MD Office).

- Travel: 20-30% national travel for stakeholder meetings, regional business visits, market research, and operational reviews.
