What You Will Do

• Execute all Supply Chain Management (SCM) and procurement activities in accordance with SCM and company procedures.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers/subcontractors as per company procedures and SCM sourcing strategies.
• Assist the Tendering Department and Project execution with their activities.
• Issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) using the eSourcing platform.
• Obtain/negotiate final prices, deliveries, and commercial Terms and Conditions with Suppliers to ensure compliant technical and commercial bids are available.
• Prepare price comparison tables along with a total cost overview (identifying and comparing foreign exchange rate influences, transportation costs, different payment terms, etc.).
• Negotiate and prepare the Special Conditions of Purchase Orders and obtain relevant approvals as per Levels of Authority (LOA) protocols.
• Coordinate with the Financial Shared Services Center (FSSC) for the Purchase to Pay process in the Oracle ERP system.
• Review Order Acknowledgements from Suppliers for compliance with Purchase Order Terms.

Manage the Purchase Order lifecycle, including:

• Processing Goods Receipt in the ERP.
• Administering invoices (assisting in the resolution of any invoice query).
• Undertaking the routine and timely expediting of all materials/services and documentation as required by the project delivery team.
• Notifying vendors when in breach of contract (e.g., delay).
• Preparing and negotiating claims.
• Issuing progress reports to reflect these activities.
• Identify and onboard potential new suppliers in accordance with Linxon processes and procedures.
• Input cost reductions achieved on purchases and provide periodic reporting to your Line Manager.
• Assist in the collation of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data and check costs, quality, and levels of service.
• Regularly review open purchase orders and take necessary actions for closure when due.
• Follow the Linxon code of conduct and ethics.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety as well as business ethics within operational work, contracts, and negotiations.
• Strengthen Customer relationships through successful procurement solutions.
• Hold and participate in added value reviews, sourcing strategies, and innovations.

Experience, Education, and Other Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Minimum CIPS qualification (or equivalent) and applicable experience, or 7+ years of experience in lieu of qualification.
• Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution (11kV to 400kV) procurement/tendering activities.
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP System.
• Experience in implementing new processes/tools/software and mentoring other team members.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Strategic negotiator with a strong commercial understanding.
