Storekeeper

As a Jr. Store Keeper he will assist in managing and maintaining the company’s inventory, ensuring that all materials and supplies are received, stored, and issued efficiently. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who can maintain accurate stock records and support the Store Incharge in day-to-day store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify incoming materials, supplies, and equipment as per purchase orders.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stacking of all materials.
• Issue materials to concerned departments as per approved requisitions.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock records (manual and/or computer-based).
• Assist in conducting periodic physical stock verification.
• Coordinate with the purchase and accounts teams for documentation and stock reconciliation.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in the store area.
• Report any stock discrepancies or damages to the Store Incharge immediately.
• Support the Store Incharge in preparing stock reports and related documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate / Diploma in Store Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in inventory or store operations (freshers may also apply).
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel / Tally / ERP preferred).
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail, honesty, and a positive work attitude.
• Ability to work in a team and follow standard procedures.
